engine guard hiway pegs

I've got Hepco Becker engine guards on my R1150R. It seems a natural place to mount a set of hiway pegs, ones that would fold in when not in use. Anyone know of such an aftermarket product, or heard/seen one that's homemade?

I've thought about adding pegs on mine, but I find that resting my feet on top of the guards works pretty well.

I've seen a pair of folding hiway pegs that mount with a single stud,
but can't remember where.

Maybe on A&S, maybe on eBay, don't know.

Seems they may have been on A&S along with some flat brackets
to mount them, but I think they mounted toward the top of the
head rather than the lower part. That would seem to put one's
feet up too high so that the rider would sit on the point of his
butt and that surely wouldn't be comfortable.

I tried a set of those that mount in the spark plug cavity and I
found those to be very uncomfortable because of that, even tho
they'd be a little lower.

I had a set of HB bars on my bike for a couple years. I took them off 2 years ago. I like to ride on the edge up in the mountains. These bars restrict how far over you can lean, if they touch down in a turn, your health is at risk. Because of the type of roads, and the type of riding I do, I felt they would more likely cause an accident, rather then save the engine if you do go down. My experience leads me to believe that if you live in an area where the roads are straight, these maybe the bars for you. If you like to test the tires while riding in a spirited manner, they might be the cause of an accident if they drag the asphalt while leaned over.

Thanks for the heads up! I read that on another blog, they said the same thing about tight turns. I went cross country last year and did the dragon's tail in NC, sounds like if I had these bars on I would've been down several times. I'll keep looking I guess.
