Hi folks,
here https://picasaweb.google.com/omg9500/BMW20110327# you can see the latest photos of my R1100R. The latest mods are the R1100S fork and carbon front fender, the 5.5" rear rim with the 180/55 tire, the oilcooler for the R1200R, comfort seats from a german company called Kahedo and the large intake from a company called Hattech. Also my fairing got a new paintjob.
What can't be seen are the "inner values". Cylinders off the R1150R, Woessner pistons, overhauled and fine-tuned heads and fine-tuned and weight-reduced rods.
The bike runs like hell and the latest R1200R or R1200GS cannot follow. Neither in speed nor in torque.
The bike is almost 13 years old and has around 70 000 kms on the clock.
Brgds
Oliver

Nicely done!
What did you do with the exhaust?
I can't see the pegs for gears or foot brake?
What fairing is that?
Great pics,
Chris

Chris,
please check out my earlier posts ... The fairing is made by a German company called Wuedo. The exhaust (mufflers and all the rest) are made by a Hungarian company called Bodis, the pegs (driver pegs) are aluminum milled again by a German company called MFW (you can clearly see them on photo no. 4)

Your "engine evolution" is really great!
Transmission and brake elements may become unreliable?.
What do you think about?.

Re: Latest Photos R1100R
Don't think so as stronger models like the R1100S as well as later 1150 models share the same parts with the R/GS breed. And I have comrads riding with similar config (or even more brutal config like upto 125 HP/125 NM) for quite some time without any defect or fault. Hence no problem.

It means that our bike has an strongest engine. I'm very happy for this.
Let's enjoy it.
