Try to play a MP3 through to your Scala Q2, and see if the below assertion is true.

Bluetooth wireless audio to make hands-free calls on a compatible Bluetooth phone or receive wireless navigation audio prompts on a compatible headset/helmet. (Bluetooth also sends MP3 in mono but will not transmit the XM radio sound)

Well so far it's true. I can hear the mp3 music and even the gps directions, but not the XM.
My next step is to find out what a Wirevo is. Someone on ADVrider says that works, but I have no idea what it is at this time.
Thanks for the replyl

It's a Bluetooth "transmitter", that transmits an audio jacked sound to a bluetooth device.
You would plug it into the XM Audio out jack, and it will transmit the XM audio over Bluetooth.
I don't know alot about audio quality of analog retransmission of music over bluetooth, but this is the same procedure to broadcast FM also. The Scala has a FM tuner and you could broadcast the XM sound into a FM Transmitter the same way.
The upside of using FM transmission, aside from the 90% cost reduction, is that your phone will be the only bluetooth paired device, and the Zumo could have the FM mode all to itself. FM Transmitters are incredibly cheap now. You can get them for 5 bucks. The Wirevo will set you back many times that.
Another cool part is that if any other riders have a FM capable headset, you just tell them the FM channel you are using, and they can jam with you, without having to execute Bluetooth pairing. Bluetooth has a "one to only one" pairing topology that annoys the heck out of me sometimes.
