Attention CycleRob...your name came up at a Starbucks :)

Post by Rider Rick »

Greetings, all, I happened to stop in at a Starbucks here in my town earlier this morning (Yukon, OK), and saw a black and white BMW parked out front. Struck up a convo with the fellow resting inside and it was BDSPLER (Tony), from Peachtree City, and we figured out he comes here (the website) sometimes, and also knows CycleRob :). He spoke highly, too, lol. Just FYI...BDSPLER is a long-distance rider, and was coming from California, was waiting out a weather front that came through last night and was in front of him. I figured an elderly gent like he shouldn't be exerting so much, then discovered he is a year younger than me 8-[ , what the... (laughing).

Anyway, Tony check in when you get home and let me know you made it ok!

It's been years since I worked on Tony's police model RT (has a cooling fan on it's one center radiator) at my house. He was just middle aged back then.
Was so long ago . . . I forget what the 2 visits were for . . . a bad stick coil? :-k

FYI, Peachtree City is here in Georgia, "just up the road" for Tony.

Yeah, I've been there, had a sis-in-law who lived there, had her little cart, lol. Also had a friend who lived in Roswell, too. Maybe he will stop by once he recovers from getting back there, lol.
