Talk about a radical looking naked bike. Read in a magazine that it had 125 hp and 130 ft pounds torque. Wish I could aford it.

I've seen a Hellcat up close and personal (though I didn't sit on or ride it) and it is an attractively ugly bike. You first look at it and think, "Eek, what the heck is that?" Then you look at it some more and you want one.
I saw an article about the Wraith last summer. I wanted to ride one as soon as I'd finished reading the article. I'd still like to ride one but I'll save my 50 grand. If I was going to spend that much on a bike, it'd be a flat-out custom.

The Confederate machnes are top notch, they use the best gear available, Ohlins, Brembo and the engines are manufactured to their specs.
Unfortunately, being built in Slidell, LA I don't know how have they have feared after Hurricane Katrina.....I hope they were spared.

I'd take anything from Confederate Motorcycles over a "custom" bike anyday. At least I'd know that the CM products are made with real engineers designing them and real craftsmen putting them together while using top notch, well engineered parts and pieces unlike the OCC chopper or whatever.

boxermania - I read where they have weathered the storm well, but they plan to relocate near Shreevport.
fnfalman - I'm with you on that one. It almost seems like custom bikes are allover the place. Alot of them seem to have similiar lines that tend to make them not stick out because we seem them everywhere, even on TV. Those bikes are truely different and eye catching! They also use alot of carbon fiber instead of chrome which is fine by me (and keeps the weight down... 410 pounds). Not to mention these bikes can actually perform, cornering etc..
