Mine is a small gel type of pad that I picked up at an Auto Barn ($5)..it attach's without glue..
it's supposed to stick on the dash of your car and be able to sit your mobile phone on it and it wont slide off..
it has the same texture as the seat.
Our BMW dealer has nice carbon fiber ones..I could take a pic if you like...
it looks a bit like this http://www.geelongcarboncraft.com.au/st ... 001_TP.jpg

Tank Pad Set
I like the looks of this tank pad set... Pics not great, but you get the idea...

Here's where you can find it... Due to the way Santa Cruz BMW has their web site set up, I can't just paste in a link, so here's the item as it appears on their site...

You think chicks dig guys who look like road-grimed astronauts and have interesting x-rays?
Nice looking tank pad?!
They're all ugly as hell. No way I'd ever stick one of those things on my bike. What's it suppossed to do, anyway? Give me some 'crotch traction'? Protect the tank from scratches? My balls from the tank? -?

Some of the longer jackets like the BMW Savanna come down low enough to put small scratches in the tank. Besides, the matte black paint on the sides of the tank on my Rockster were showing scuff mark from my jeans. Maybe they're not for everyone, but I like the way they look on my bike and thats what counts.
