A little fix aflat???

Post by israel »

Hello all,
There is a slight buble of air between the front tire and wheel.
Loose about a pound a day.
My Tahoe brand new had the same problem and I fixed it with a
little fix a flat. It worked. About a year now....
Should I:
A) Put a little fix a flat, go for a 30 mile ride then change the air??
B) Remount the tire??
or
C) who comes up with an easier more practical solution on this board??

Thanks
Israel

I would definitely stay way from the Fix a flat. Usually that is a temporary fix and the tire is toast after that. Try remounting it.

I would remount it...btw...what's a Tahoe?....and what's 'fix a flat'??

My guess is your Tahoe is a car and fix a flat is that spray can goo that inflates and seals at the same time....right?

I've used those spray can tire sealers in the past in car tires and they work ok.

But I wouldn't use it on a bike tire unless it's an emergency and there's no other option.
