Can you taste the difference

Post by R »

:| Hello, I trully enjoy all the info. Ever hear the one about "Oh I knew I was differant even as a child" well that's bullocks. Ye chooses yer poison and we've chosen ours.
I've been riding for years......much in my second home Ole Blighty (UK) all kinds of roads ,riding conditions, and every kind of bike over time( except exotics and Harley) and I keep coming back to Beeemers. 2004 Rockster this go round. Hope to keep it for centuries....Hope. I've ended up in Daytona beach and it is FAB. The bike is awsume trully. My first was a /2 R60 in Detroit, traded a Suzuki Titan 500 for it. I was WOWED back then. Became a mechanic w/Ist Armoured Div. Got to know machinery. You either get Beemers or you don't. They are either there for you to discover or you end up never knowing or understanding.
I got it in 1968 I get it now.
Rock on, ride easy.

Once in your short lives get to the Ace, North Circular, London Say hi to Mark.[/b]

I enjoy riding other bikes, primarily twin configurations, but I love my Beemer. People ask me why I favor my Rock over my Tuono for canyon riding. I reply that the Tuono is much more capable as a performance machine. Much, much more. But I can ride it maybe 50% of its capability on the street. On the Rock, I can ride safely at around 80-90% of its capability. And yes, I do like the compliments such as, "Wow, I didn't know BMW can take corners." The only time I'd take second in the canyons is on the long sweepers and the straightaways where the faster bikes would leave me behind with their sheer acceleration.
Cogito Ergo Vroom - I think therefore I ride.
