I DID IT!!!

Post by gilx »

I just purchased a beautiful 2004 R1150RT! I will pick it up this weekend and hopefully have my first long ride early next week. I'm 57 years old, but feel like a 8 year old just before Christmas! Some kids never grow up :D

The bike has everything I want except for the top bag with a cushion for my passenger. Where is a good place to purchase this?

Congrats on the new bike, John. For a nicely priced top case, you could first check out BeemerBoneYard.com, or eBay, or some such. Happy motoring!

Thanks for the BeemerBoneYard tip. I contacte them and got on their waiting list.

Wow, and I thought HD was bad. Put an HD logo on a part and it's cost goes up by 100%. Take a $50 plastic, hinged box and put a cute little blue and white logo on it and it sells for $500  The Germans learn well!

Thanks for the tip. Anyone know which cases I should be looking at for a 2004 r1140r?
