Old habits die hard - goodies ordered

Post by fly »

It's not my fault, really. Having the V-Rod as the other bike I already suffer from chrome's disease, an affliction necessitating retail therapy. So, since the weather has gone in the tank (-2 C and snowing) I decided to sit in the lounge chair by the fireplace and do some shopping.
Since I had already bookmarked a number of sites selling aftermarket parts for the R12R, it wasn't too difficult to make up a shopping list. I ended up ordering the Remus powercone along with the cylinder protectors and various aluminum trim pieces (fork caps, telelever caps etc) from Hornig in Germany. Helmut Hornig confirmed availability, shipping info etc. on the order - I'm impressed to get this level of communication on a Sunday afternoon (evening in Germany).
I figured I'd spent enough so passed on the carbon fiber hugger that they have available...for now. :D

Mark , Thanks the Hornig site is a pretty good one. I could stand a translator though. There are items I would like to buy but I need a translator to tell me more about it.
Sorry about the weather up there too. Sounds unreasonable.

How about the address of the site? I tried several combinations to no avail.

Mark, if you look around on the site (top right corner) you can change the language to English.

About the only thing worse than the weather here is the hockey team.
