Re: Clutch slave cylinder replaced
"Much"..... sorry wrong choice of words. Dealer did the work, no mention the clutch being contaminated....but I harbour doubts. Can you have a leaking slave that does not affect the clutch plate?

Re: Starts like crap
thanks CycleRob, I'll check all connections, the ironic thing about the poor start-up is that what ever is causing it has completely done away with the bike surging problem !!! The bike runs soooo smoooth once under way I'm tempted not to correct the starting problem.

When I hit the starter button for the second time it starts a little rough but then maintains a normal idle. Onc...

Re: What does a final drive "feel like" when it's going out?
I felt a funky, wobbly vibration while cornering in one direction (I believe it was left) and later did the centerstand test of wiggling the wheet from the 3 and 9 position and had some play. When you said you checked the oil, did you mean the final drive oil? When I got home and drained the FD oil...

Tire Question
Have mis-matched pair of tires that came with the bike. Front: Pilot 2. Rear: ME880. Front tire has approx 3500 miles and the rear at 700 miles. In the dry, the bike seems to handle very well, but haven't had much opportunity to ride in the wet as yet. The question - is this a good tire combo?? Your...
