How will BMW hide the radiators on the next roadster?

I assume it'll be a while before we see a water-cooled R1200R. The naked/standard variant of the boxer line is usually the last to go into production. But I'm wondering when that time comes, how will the radiators be hidden (and will they need to be much larger than the oil-cooling radiator thats currently on the front/lower section of the R1200R's engine?

Probably in the same way the radiators were disguised in the Rockster, inside fat "cheeks" at the front of the tank. Because the tank shape will have to change, I'll bet we also see the fuel strip replaced by a float.

I don't think that's likely. The F800R has conventional telescopic forks with no Telelever, so there's room for a single radiator up under the steering head. An R wethead would (presumably) have a Telelever like the current bikes, in the same space. A radiator wouldn't fit.

This seems to be the most feasible solution, given that either BMW and/or the market will insist on telelever suspension. I actually find the Rockster radiators a more elegant design than the current single radiator on the R1200R. But the latter design was made necessary by (I assume) the need for a larger radiator. And the radiators on the GS seem even larger in total area. Anyway, BMW have a few more years to work out a solution. I'm optimistic.

Seems they took an R12R and removed most of the versatility. Looks like an occasional Saturday afternoon ride.

Exactly. I think it's pretty good looking actually, but way too impractical. I'd only buy one if there were a bunch of other bikes in the stable (as if that would ever happen). On the other hand, the R12R is pretty much all the bike one could ever need.
