I'm not real clear about this BT issue. I've had r bikes for almost 5 years, and have never had a battery problem. I ride at least once a week. Won't this weekly ride keep my battery charged, or do I need to hook up on a regular basis?

Here we go again... removing the muffler on the 1150 r-------does it or will it harm the overall performace of the bike. I've been told that removing the can can adversly affect back pressure and over time damage the engire Would like to get rid of the 20+ # it adds. Let me know what yyou think....t...

what diameter pipe did you use and where did you find it?

any pluses or minuses re: removing the muffler on the r1150r? I know it slightly lightens the bikes, but is there any harm in doing this?

I just spoke to the factory in Greenville, S.C. Tires are now on "hold" the item numbers she gave me are: for the front 12070-17--12271. for the rear 170/60-17--79767. she couldn't tell me why they were on "hold" or when they would be released.............rt

I have the same dilema. Have been on the Michelin's for around 8,000 miles and am noticing that strange "hump" in the middle. Am toying between the z6's and the new pr2. Let me know what you decide and how you like them..........rt
