Re: Akrapovic exhaust can fitment

I got a Remus can off fleabay a while back for an RT/ST and that wouldnt fit till the link pipe was modified.
I assume the Akrapovics would be the same with the different part Nos.

Re: Dampening dial...

It has an arrow pointing left and right. But on a circular dial, which way is left and which way is right? Normally, you'd think top of the dial determines direction. But the H and S labels are at the bottom of the dial. It just strikes me as unecessarily obtuse, when they could just say "cloc...

Try putting it in gear and stalling the engine, the headlamp might then stay on.

Re: Rick Mayer is a fraud

I am using an Airhawk currently, which is a big improvement on the stock seat, but would like to find a better solution. I like the look of your Rick Meyer saddle. Was it made to measure or is it an off-the-shelf unit? Also , would you please describe the benefit you found with the new saddle. I fi...

Re: Help on Removing/Installing Heated Grips

As far as i know the left grip doesn't fit straight on the bar, it's the same inside diameter as the throttle side and is on a tube which slides over the handlebar and is screwed on so should be just a case of undoing it and sliding it off and onto the other bars. At least that's what it was like on...

Re: Buffeting begone!

I went out for a ride at the weekend, just a short blast of about 20 miles, the first ride since september and despite balaclava and full face helmet my face was bloody cold. I hadn't got my tank bag on and i think that is the problem cos i usually have it with me and i've done a ride in minus 7 C b...

If you're stopping the bike by putting the sidestand down with the ignition still on then the light coming on is normal and your bike is working fine ;)

Re: ASC - How do you know if you really need this option?

I suppose the only way you will know if you need it is if you end up on the floor through giving it a big handful. Just go steady if the conditions are dodgy and you should be o.k. There's usualy always a lot more grip available than you think unless there's Diesel or something on the road. And if t...
